The Private Warehouse is an option available for our international customers found at the checkout. It allows us to hold your orders—both in-stock items and pre-orders—for up to 12 weeks. This service is designed to help International customers save on shipping by grouping ordered items together rather than shipping them all individually.
How It Works
- Holding Orders
- Once your items arrive in our store, they will automatically be added to your Private Warehouse.
- Your order status will be updated to reflect this, and we will send you an email notification when items have arrived.
- Grouping for Discounted Shipping
- After the 12-week holding period, we will contact you via email to confirm your grouped shipping options.
- Shipping rates are calculated collectively based on the total weight of all your items, allowing you to save compared to shipping items individually.
- Import Duties & Taxes
We provide two options for handling import taxes or duties in your country:- Duties Pre-Paid (currently US Customers only):
- Duties/tariffs are added as an item to your grouped shipping rate invoice.
- We send these duties directly onto your customs department ahead of time.
- This is generally faster and can be slightly cheaper because it reduces customs administration costs.
- Duties Unpaid:
- Your customs department will contact you directly to pay any duties due.
- This option is entirely handled by your local customs office and is found to be slightly more expensive due to administration costs.
- Duties Pre-Paid (currently US Customers only):
- Confirmation & Billing
- After 12 weeks, we will send an email confirming any items that are ready for shipment.
- You will be asked to confirm whether you want to pre-pay duties (option available to US customers only at the moment) or duties unpaid.
- Once confirmed, we will send an invoice for the discounted shipping rate, including any duties if chosen.
- Shipping at Any Time
- You don’t need to wait for the full 12 weeks if you want your items sooner.
- Simply email our customer support team with the order numbers you want shipped and we will begin the shipping process immediately.
