The Private Warehouse is an option available for our international customers at checkout. It allows us to hold your orders — including in-stock items and pre-orders — for up to 180 days.

This service is designed to help international customers save on shipping costs by grouping multiple orders together and shipping items collectively rather than sending each order individually.

Private Warehouse may also be used where an order cannot be shipped until additional import-related requirements have been completed, such as payment of applicable import duties, VAT, tariffs, taxes or customs-related charges.

How It Works

1. Holding Orders

Once your items arrive at our warehouse, they will automatically be added to your Private Warehouse.

Your order status will be updated accordingly, and we will send an email notification when items become available for shipment.

Customers may keep items in their Private Warehouse for up to 180 days from the date the item becomes eligible for shipment or from the date an import payment request is issued, depending on the reason the item is being held.

2. Grouping Orders for Shipping

The Private Warehouse option allows you to combine multiple orders into a single shipment.

When you are ready to ship your items, or when the holding period is approaching its limit, we will contact you via email to confirm your grouped shipping options.

Shipping rates are calculated based on the combined shipment details, including the total weight and destination, allowing you to potentially save compared to shipping each order individually.

3. Import Duties, VAT and Taxes

Depending on your destination country, import duties, VAT, tariffs and customs charges may need to be paid before your order can be shipped.

Some countries require duties and taxes to be collected before the parcel can be submitted for export or before it can enter the destination country’s customs process.

Currently, customers in the following locations may be required to pre-pay applicable import charges before shipment:

  • United States
  • Denmark
  • Germany
  • Luxembourg

This list may change depending on customs requirements and regulations in each destination country.

Where pre-payment is required, Nendoworld will contact you and issue a payment request for the applicable import duties, VAT, tariffs or taxes.

Once the payment request has been issued:

  • You will have 14 days to complete payment.
  • Reminder emails may be sent during this period.
  • Your order status may be changed to Private Warehouse while awaiting payment.
  • Your item will not be shipped until the required payment has been received.

If payment is not completed within 14 days, the item will remain held in Private Warehouse for up to 180 days from the date the payment request was issued.

If payment is not received and you do not contact our support team within this period, the item may be considered abandoned and may be resold in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

4. Confirmation and Billing

When your items are ready for shipment, we will contact you by email to confirm your shipping preferences.

You may be asked to confirm whether you wish to use any available duties-paid shipping option or duties-unpaid shipping option where available.

Once confirmed, we will issue an invoice for the applicable shipping costs and any required import duties, taxes or charges.

5. Shipping Before the Holding Period Ends

You do not need to wait until the full 180-day holding period has passed if you wish to ship your items sooner.

Simply contact our customer support team with the order numbers you wish to ship, and we will begin arranging your shipment.
